Worldwide Education, The UK's number one supply agency, are seeking experienced Attendance and CME (Children Missing Education) Officers, who have significant experience in an attendance service- including resolving complex cases.  This is a challenging and rewarding role based in a committed and supportive team.

We are excited to offer this full time role as an Attendance and CME Officer within Slough. This position as an Attendance and CME officer is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to provide support for schools, pupils and families in Slough.

Pay – We offer competitive salaries, depending on experience and qualifications- may range between £26-31K Per Annum. The minimum qualifications and experience are outlined below.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will:

• Have experience working as a team member in a public service
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification  
• Ability to deal effectively with difficult cases and resolve problems
• Have detailed knowledge of attendance and CME procedures
• Experience dealing with angry, upset and disappointed parents
• Ability to provide clear, professional advice and guidance to schools, parents, head teachers and other professionals on all attendance and CME issues.
• MUST HAVE: Driving license and access to transport

Main Purpose of the Role:

As an Attendance and CME officer, you will be responsible for identifying pupils who are not receiving education, ensuring pupils attend school and working with other departments and schools to promote safeguarding and the welfare of all school age children. You must have the ability to build constructive and positive relationships with all partners.
