Assistant Accountant

£25,000-£27,000 plus benefits (annual bonus, free parking etc.)
Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic but rewarding environment on permanent basis. This is a busy and varied role offering a great opportunity to make a real impact on the business and be an intricate part of the finance team.
Some of the responsibilities are:
- Assisting in the production of annual budgets and forecasts for the firm
- Cash flow management
- Payment of wages and implementation of wage reviews.
- Funding and management discussions with bank when required
- VAT return
- Printing off creditors and debtor reports
- Produce management reports when requested
- Management of Pension Scheme
- Managing accountancy software systems
- Ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager
To be successful in your application you will have:
- AAT studier/qualified
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous financial experience ideally within AP/AR
- Payroll background
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
