Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Mata Ahupae - Administrator to join Orauariki - Wellington School of Business and Government on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is located within Te Kura Ohaoha Pūtea - School of Economics and Finance and Te Kura Kaute, Ture Tauhokohoko - School of Accounting and Commercial Law and is a key position within the administration structure for both Schools.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual with outstanding organisational skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a flair for creative thinking. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the administrative functions of both Schools while actively supporting the academic team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for undergraduate and postgraduate courses and programs, ensuring professional, accurate, and timely service to all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to school-wide operations, including course coordination, event management, website updates, and communications.
  • Deliver student support as required by the Faculty and Central Service Units.
  • Provide full administrative assistance to the Manutaki - PhD Director, Chair, Faculty Committees, and Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all areas.
