Our Client:

The Exciting Opportunity:
Due to business growth, this newly created position will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager. It is a varied and interesting role where you will grow and develop professionally.
Duties:
- Prepare month end company financial reports with budget variance analysis commentaries
- Prepare month end Balance Sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial account accuracy
- Prepare tax returns for the group entities and liaise with tax advisors on various tax compliance requirements
- Maintenance of fixed asset register and depreciation calculations
- Prepare annual company statutory financial reports, co-ordinate year end audit and liaise with auditors
- Accounts Payable and preparing payment runs
- Accounts Receivable and raising invoices
- Responsible for overhead reporting to management
- Perform account reconciliations
- Prepare consolidations & cash flow forecasts
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Tax compliance, including BAS preparation and FBT
- Maintain the general ledger
- Prepare and submit overheads budget/forecasts on a timely manner
- Identify trends and cost analysis
- Adhoc tasks as required including management reporting
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Accounting
- CA/CPA qualified
- A working knowledge of Accounting Standards
- Previous experience in a commercial environment is essential
- Must be computer literate
- Experience with data-handling and manipulation
- (Microsoft Office) Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to see 'big picture' of organisation
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to exercise judgment and resolve issues independently
