I am currently assisting this FTSE 100 Entertainment business in their search for an Indirect Tax Senior Manager. The company has offices across five continents and has revenues in excess of £3bn. This role would suit a high-performing indirect tax professional looking to join a leading and collaborative tax team. This role is advisory focused and you are to act as a trusted business partner.
Duties
- Tackle challenging indirect tax technical queries in a variety of jurisdictions
- Managing existing and emerging tax obligations
- Working closely with key internal stakeholders to understand and advise on the indirect tax implications of the company's operations
- You would not have direct line management responsibility, but you will be responsible for supervising, training and mentoring other members of the team
- Keep up to date with key legislation changes and be in a position to advise the business
- Work with members of the wider tax team on a range of special projects
- Review and sign-off indirect tax returns
- Manage the relationship with external advisers
- Assisting with VAT compliance queries from the wider business
About you
- CTA qualified or similar qualification
- Extensive indirect tax experience either gained in practice and/or mutinational organisation
- Proven experience of either partial exemptions, VAT on cross-border transactions or VAT on electronically Supplied Services (ESS)/ digital services would be ideal
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
