Our client is one of the UK's largest energy companies. The primary purpose of this role is the preparation and submission of timely and accurate indirect tax returns to UK tax authorities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing clear indirect tax advice to the wider business and managing specific indirect tax projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate indirect tax returns
- Providing advice and support to key stakeholders and wider business
- Dealing with ad hoc queries from HMRC
- Ensure that accounting related to indirect tax returns is actively managed
- Assist with the management of indirect tax projects
About you:
- Be part or fully qualified (recognised accounting/tax qualification)
- Experience of working in an indirect tax team
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
- Strong integrity
