Job Title: Skilled Food Production Operative (Sauce Maker)

Location: Norfolk, Attleborough NR17 1LY,

Pay Rate: £14.82 per hour (weekly pay, overtime available)

Shift: Night Shift (22:00-06:00), 4 on, 4 off

Contract: Temp to Perm - Permanent after successful completion of a 12-week probationary period

Job Overview:
As a Skilled Food Production Operative (Sauce Maker), you will play a key role in preparing and cooking sauces for our ready meal range, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to our established recipes. While prior experience in sauce making is not required, previous experience within food production is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and cook sauces according to established recipes and procedures
• Ensure the quality and consistency of the sauce batches, adjusting ingredients as necessary
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and ingredient quantities to meet production targets
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in your work area, adhering to food safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production schedules

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production environment (experience in sauce making is a plus, but not essential)
• Ability to follow recipes and precise instructions
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in quality control
• Willingness to work night shifts and commit to a 4 on, 4 off schedule
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• A proactive attitude and ability to work efficiently as part of a team
