Our client, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is offering an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-evolving aviation environment. We are seeking experienced Supervisors and Senior Technicians specialising in Avionics and/or A&P to perform heavy maintenance checks, including C&D checks, in an MRO base maintenance hangar.

Main activities: 

The Supervisors and Senior Technicians will oversee all maintenance operations for the early generation Boeing aircraft, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. This includes managing teams, optimizing processes, and upholding compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Experience/Knowledge Required: 

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance activities for the 707 aircraft, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for efficiency and productivity improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address and resolve any production issues, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure all work is performed to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and manage the production budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with early Boeing aircraft is preferred.
  • Specifically experience with early Boeing models B737 – first generation (737-100 / 737-200) or B737 – classic generation (737-300 / 737-400 / 737-500) Powered by CFM engines, or B757-200 or any of 747 – classic (747-100 / 747-200 / 747-300).
  • Certification: GACA or FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in aircraft maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Due to client requirements and visa restrictions, we can only consider candidates under the age of 55 with either US Or UK nationalities.
