Main activities: 
The Production Supervisor will manage daily operations of the maintenance crew, focusing on the Boeing 707 aircraft. This role ensures that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.

Experience/Knowledge Required: 
 

  • Supervise the maintenance crew, providing on-the-job training and technical guidance.
  • Evaluate crew performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with SAMI AAI workmanship standards for all tasks performed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in serviceable condition and ensure proper storage.
  • Control stock checked out from the Stockroom by crew members.
  • Monitor and approve crew time, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
  • Report any personnel issues that cannot be resolved within the crew to management.
  • Recommend disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Assist in evaluating non-routine work cards for parts and labor requirements.
  • Continuously monitor work progress and keep the crew informed of job statuses.
  • Assist in preparing shift status and turn-over reports.



Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Certification: GACA or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in aircraft maintenance, with supervisory experience.
