Avionic Technician - Philadelphia (BBBH14508) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

On behalf of our client, we are seeking Avionics Technician to join on a permanent basis. As the Avionics Technician you will assist in the transfer of helicopters from the Production line to Flight Line. You will assist in the transfer of helicopters from the Production line to Flight Line. Perform incoming inspections. Assemble, modify & install wire bundles, components, and other avionic equipment.

Responsibilities
 

  • Perform function testing in accordance with applicable job cards.
  • Perform aircraft test procedures to avionic systems.
  • Perform crimping and de-pin and pin of electrical connectors.
  • Perform troubleshooting activity on avionic systems.
  • General knowledge of ground support equipment.


Education and Experience:
 

  • 5 years rotor wing aviation experience
  • High School Diploma: college is a plus
  • Minimal computer skills
  • Ability to learn new tasks in a short period of time;
  • Ability to assemble, modify and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.
  • A&P is a plus but not necessary; Maintenance training for aviation a must
