Test Manager; QA Manager: Performance Test Manager: LoadRunner

One of my clients, a reputable Bank, is looking to hire a Test Manager on an initial 6-month contract to lead the performance testing on a key IT migration programme. The team have been tasked in spearheading the migration of various customer policies from an existing system to a third party offering, and they are looking for a Performance Test Manager to help play a key role in developing and building their capability in Quality Engineering, focussing mainly on the non-functional side of testing whilst also working with the functional test manager as part of a small leadership team.

You will be liaising with stakeholders and vendors as well as taking ownership of the performance testing processes around the migration, including leading other performance QA Engineers and defining and implementing the non-functional test strategy.

To be right for this role, you will need a background in the following:

• Test Management within performance/non-functional testing at another financial services company
• Experience defining and leading the delivery of a non-functional test strategy within another Bank
• Performance Center/LoadRunner experience
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Anyone with FNZ knowledge/experience would be massively advantageous (though not essential)

This role will be a mixture of working in the office (1-2 times a week) with the rest being remote. The Bank has offices dotted around the UK so there is no set base location. It’s a 6-month contract with a view to extending thereafter. Please note that this is a PAYE contract going through an Umbrella company. The rate quoted is the Umbrella rate.
