Established in 1962 the Client, a privately owned company is the world’s leading manufacturer of gauges and master gears.

Their highly skilled team of engineers are dedicated to producing supreme quality and reliability across their extensive product range.

Based solely at our UK manufacturing facility we are able to provide complete gauging solutions from design to manufacture and certification.

We are now seeking to recruit 3 Universal Grinders to work manual and CNC grinding machines within our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• To have experience of using cylindrical grinders (universal) and surface grinding machines.

• Experience operating Studer CNC cylindrical grinder would be an advantage

• Must be able to use measuring equipment

• Understand engineering drawings

• Must be able to work to close tolerances

• Good Attendance and attitude to work

• To be able to work alone and in a team

• The role requires a flexible approach, and the willingness to undertake a variety of tasks to facilitate the quality and productivity.

• 37.5 hour week

• Flexible working hours, Monday to Thursday: Start between 6:30-8:00am and finish between 3:00-4:30pm . Friday: Start 6:30 – 8:00am and finish between 12-1:30pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £14 - £19 per hour
