You will need to be a solid Database Administrator with Ingres or Oracle database technologies
Defence NV1 clearance is essential
Some experience working on Australian Defence projects is a distinct advantage
Required Skills & experience
- Solid experience and background with Ingres or Oracle Databases
- Preferably background/experience working in a UNIX environment
- Data Analysis and cleansing
- Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases.
- Perform many related database functions, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
- Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures
- documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance
