Job Title: Electrical Fitter
Hourly rate: £17.64 per hour limited + Attractive Shift & Overtime Rates
About the opportunity:
Electrical Fitters required for a manufacturing company based in Bristol.
Role & Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Fitter, you will be building and wiring various types of special purpose machinery & control panels from start to finish. You will be wiring the machine systems following engineering drawings and schematics. As an Electrical Fitter, your duties will also include, point to point wiring, cable crimping, looming and terminating work. You will also be required to build cables, solder on connectors such as d-types using lead free soldering. Ability to use variety of crimping tools is absolutely essential for this role.
Essential Requirements:
• Panel & machine wiring
• Electrical wiring
• Loom & harness wiring
• Point to point wiring, cable crimping & terminating work
• Cable assembly to IPC-A-620 standards
• Ability to solder on various connectors such as d-types
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and schematics
• Due to the nature of the work, candidate must not be colour blind (very important)
Qualifications:
• Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
• 16th/17th Edition Electrical qualification
• HNC/HND in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• City & Guilds in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• Any other relevant electrical engineering qualifications
