Production Manager

Northampton area

Salary up to £45,000

Monday - Friday hours 

29 days holiday including banks, Pension allowance, Bonus schemes, Generous benefits 

I am pleased to be working with a small family run business within the Northampton area who are currently investing a lot into their business and are looking forward to growing the company and the teams over the next few months to a year. Main Responsibilities:

• You will be in charge of a team of around 5 staff including team leaders
• Will be heavily involved in the business improvements that they will be going through over the next couple of months 
• Making sure the operators are maintaining the equipment correctly
• Planning the production schedules - What needs to be done and when it needs to be completed by
• Scheduling in the deliveries 
• Working closely with the customers and suppliers
• Managing KPI output which is determined by output of product and much more 
• Ordering the materials - Hands on purchasing involvement
• Managing the production budget and controlling any costs in the department

To be considered for this position you will be a Production Manager with experience managing a team within a precision machinery industry or heavier industry.
