Stafforce are working in partnership with an Egg Company based in the Alford Area for Egg Collectors with immediate starts!

The following is involved in your job role; bird welfare, food hygiene, your health and safety and bio-security.

There are elements of this role where you will lone work.

OWN TRANSPORT IS REQUIRED DUE TO TRAVELLING BETWEEN SITES

Shift Pattern;

Hours for Egg Collectors are 7am-3.30pm Weekends/Saturday and Sunday

Pay rate;

Starting at £11.50p/h and increasing to £12.65 at 12 weeks service.

Responsibilities of Egg Collectors;

· Temperate and water reading checks on arrival

· Entering the Chicken Sheds to check food, water and lighting regularly throughout the shift (minimum of 3 times)

· Opening on nest boxes on arrival.

· Complete shed walks for Floors eggs and removal of dead birds.

· Reporting of any problems to your line manager immediately.

· Ensure Hygiene levels of the whole house are at the highest standard, to include cleaning floors, all egg contact surfaces (belts and rollers, egg tables and equipment).

· Completion so paper work, recording temperatures, water readings, deceased birds, eggs collected and bird checks. This is a legal requirement.

· Separation of Class A Eggs from seconds, to ensure quality throughout food chain.

• This will require on occasion lifting chickens up at night and catching chickens if able among other jobs you may be asked to do from time to time. Your role may be switched to work on different areas of the farm as required.
