Our well established Client in Lincoln is looking for a Dye shop operative to join their team on a Full time Permanent basis.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
The role:
- billet prepping
- responsible for the accurate set up of the tooling for the saws and CNC lathes
- following the drawings/instructions to exact customer specifications
- specific responsibilities include the interpretation of drawings and instruction sheets to determine cutting/chamfering and set-up required
- setting the exact measurement of the areas to be cut as well as the identification and weighing of materials
- responsible for inspecting both their own and others work to ensure the adherence to and improvement of quality standards
- responsible for the accurate completion of all required documentation
- branding of parts
- maintenance checks
- use of precision measuring instruments to set up and machine work to required tolerances
- loading and unloading materials onto trucks and banding parts to pallets

- experience working in a heavy engineering environment
- positive and flexible working attitude
- excellent attention to detail
