We are currently looking for 2 x candidates A level qualified in Chemistry to work as a Mobile Waste Operative.

Working within the Marine sector, you will be responsible for traveling to sites across the south region collect Chempac Waste.

The Role;

• List, package, and label hazardous waste, including checking drums and contents at customer sites.
• Collect and safely transport hazardous waste, following regulations and company rules.
• Use IT systems to create transport documents, check safety data, and prepare quotes.
• Perform tasks like printing labels, transferring waste, and re-packing containers.
• Review new requests and help with chemist tasks at the Hazardous Waste Transfer Station when needed.
• Sample hazardous waste and help clean up spills if required.
• Share technical knowledge with customers and team members, including training new staff when experienced.
• Follow health and safety rules, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH regulations.
• Complete paperwork accurately to meet customer needs and keep stock of supplies.
• Build good customer relationships, follow site rules, and help with other tasks as needed by management.
