A leading energy organisation is seeking a DER Engineer to manage the registration, validation, and testing of Distributed Energy Resources. The role involves ensuring DER connections meet requirements, overseeing the connection process, and driving continuous improvement in DER systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the registration, validation, and testing of DERs.
- Ensure DER connections meet all process and compliance requirements.
- Manage the customer connection workflow for seamless integration.
- Drive improvements in DER processes and system performance.
- Provide technical expertise in SCADA, AMI, and DERMS integration.
About you:
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution network topology and DER integration.
- Expertise in SCADA, AMI, and DERMS systems.
- Knowledge of CSIP-Aus desired.
- Background in DER integration within energy infrastructure.
