I am currently working with one of Jersey’s top Hotel & Restaurants looking for an experienced Chef de Partie, specialising in Pastry for their One Michelin Star, 5 Rosette award winning restaurant.

As Chef de Partie – Pastry, you will work with and support one of the best Head Pastry Chef’s in the UK in creating and delivering exceptional menus, whilst leading and mentoring the brigade to continually push and develop their skills.

As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will have ambition, determination, drive and energy, whilst being up to date with all the current food trends and want to be part of something new and very special.

The role will suit someone who has already established themselves successfully at Pastry CDP level in a quality fresh food operation and is looking to broaden their experience and responsibilities. Ideally you will have experience working in a minimum of a 3 Rosette standard Kitchen.

Working hours as expected within a high standard kitchen to include split shifts, evenings & weekends

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience from a similar environment, with a solid understanding of fresh ingredients & produce with excellent pastry skills
  • Support The Head Chef with the day to day operation of the kitchen
  • Run section to the highest standard at all times
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with the Head Chef’s directions
  • Minimise wastage through proper stock control and menu development 
  • Manage all Kitchen H&S Systems and procedures
  • Support the brigade by leading by example. 
  • Work to a consistently high standard in a calm manner
  • Previous Michelin/3 Rosette experience preferred
