The Opportunity
This opportunity will see you joining a thriving and leading wireless internet service provider to help enhance their Network Operations service.

Your journey may start in NOC1 but this role could see you go into NOC2 then NOC3 and hopefully even further. The Role:
This is a NOC environment and much of the support will work with public and private cloud services, large enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructures through to end user troubleshooting. The initial customer’s faults will be mostly with student accommodations, holiday parks, but may source out to other customers. The initial customer calls will be handled by the customer service team, who will then escalate technical issues through to the service desk and then the next escalation point will be NOC1/2/3.
Some of your day to day responsibilities may involve the following:
- Prioritise and resolve incidents escalated by Customer Service or raised directly by customers into Network Operations.
- Ensure consistent, accurate and timely updates to tickets
- Ensure timely internal and external communications per SLA
- Handle Customer calls into Network Operations whilst on shift
- Complete Infrastructure documentation and knowledge base development to improve team knowledge and troubleshooting
- Handle customer queries, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the expected time frame and follow up to ensure resolution
The Candidates we want:
The ideal Network Operations candidate will have previous experience in a NOC and technical support role in a service orientated environment. As the role is working closely with internal teams and external customers, we I’ll need you to have strong communication skills and a customer service focussed attitude
We’d be looking for Network Operation professionals that can point to the following:
- Proven experience in a network operations centre in the ISP/Telecoms industry
- Proven experience on incident management processes and prioritization
- Working knowledge of monitoring systems, network management platforms
- Have good networking knowledge, including physical, switching, routing (OSPF, BGP), transport layers and firewalls
- Excellent communication skills
