Location: Stans, Switzerland
Responsabilities
- Validate composite materials or manufacturing process technologies through the manufacture of prototype components, including relevant testing to de-risk the technology, to deepen know-how and to assess the suitability of a technology targeting a later certification and implementation in Pilatus products
- Lead and execute composites projects, readily initiated and granted by InnoSuisse (Swiss funded projects)
- Manage composites projects between external suppliers, internal and own resources
- Propose and select future technologies for exploration toward project definition and execution
Requirements
- MSc degree from a recognised university in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- Experience of 5 to 10 years in composite materials and processes, in the aerospace market
- Internationally networked in the composites industry
- Knowledge of Swiss and international academic landscapes and associated public collaborative funding mechanisms is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and German
- Self-propelled personality, eager to advance own projects, propose pragmatic solutions and achieve results
- Multi-functional interest and ability for hands-on activities coupled with project management
