Avionics Systems Engineer
ENGINEERING & TRAINING SYSTEMS
TRAINING AIRCRAFT
Location: Stans, Switzerland
Responsabilities

  • Design, development, and management of avionics systems integration into the Trainer Aircraft
  • Responsibility for aircraft level system developments
  • Compilation and review of test requirements and support to ground/flight testing
  • Preparation and review of system requirement documents and certification engineering reports as well as analysis of in-service problems and definition of solutions
  • Liaising with external suppliers and certification authorities on a technical level
  • Support to the production line and customer support organisations

Requirements

  • University Degree in electrical or aerospace engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience designing and developing integrated avionics systems, e.g. electronic displays, navigation, communication and utilities systems, and aircraft electrical power systems
  • Knowledge of FAA/EASA certification requirements
  • Fluency in English (C1) with good communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment
  • Ability to deal with different stakeholders in a multicultural organization
