Electrical System Integration Engineer

Responsabilities
 

  • Act as the integration focal point between the electrical system (ATA 24) and the avionics and all the electromechanical systems of a new platform
  • Support design, development, integration, and testing of electrical systems, including network quality characterization, protection strategies, resonance studies, and network reconfiguration
  • Manage requirements in DOORS, including capturing, validation, linking, and change management for System Requirement Documents and Technical Requirement Documents
  • Manage system and equipment suppliers, including specification of technical requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Analyze qualification categories per DO-160, review supplier test and qualification procedures, write and execute integration test procedures and reports, and continuously mature certification strategies, plans and reports
  • Assist in defining detailed ATA 24 development schedules, support internal system-level reviews, and prepare monthly progress reports

Requirements

  • University master's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in aircraft electrical systems or in system integration
  • Knowledge of FAA/EASA certification requirements (Part 23)
  • Proven knowledge of aerospace processes (ARP4754 and ARP4761), tools (Teamcenter, DOORS), and standards DO-160 is required, DO-178 and DO-254
  • Experience in simulation of electrical systems
  • Fluency in English (C1 or above) with good communication skills
