We are working with numerous homeless charities which are regularly supplying us with shifts, but we need more people to go on our Ad hoc list!
Pay: £13.50 + holiday pay = £15.13 or £17 umbrella per hour
We are currently seeking locum Hostel Workers to work on an ad hoc basis across Lambeth, within a variety of homeless hostels.
As a Hostel Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Your duties will include conducting assessments, carrying out support plans, delivering one-to-one sessions, and completing tasks on handover notes.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage their workload effectively. You should be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is able to build positive relationships with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.

In order to be put on the Ad Hoc list, you will need an enhanced adult & child checked DBS issued within the last 12 months, or one that is on the update service. If you do not have this, get in touch by submitting your CV and we can help you get one. Experience in a hostel environment is essential.
