About Us: A reputable construction company serving the Chatham area is currently seeking a skilled Hod Carrier to join our team. The Hod Carrier will be responsible for assisting with material transportation on our construction sites in Chatham. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting materials, such as bricks and mortar, using a hod.
- Supporting bricklayers and other tradespeople as needed.
- Ensuring materials are delivered efficiently and safely to the designated areas on-site.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card.
- Own hod and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy loads.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
