• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Previous experience in Onshore Gas Processing Plants or similar facilities is essential.
  • Proven experience in FEED & Detailed Engineering phases, with a focus on telecom systems.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in telecom systems such as PABX, DCS, SCADA, radio communication, data networks, and fiber optics.
  • Knowledge of telecom equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Familiar with telecom codes and standards such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE, and ATEX (for hazardous areas).
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar design software for telecom layouts and schematics.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience with integrated telecom systems for SCADA or control systems in oil and gas plants.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Previous experience in commissioning and start-up of telecom systems in an industrial environment.

Work Conditions:

• Ability to work on-site in a challenging environment with shifting priorities.
• Frequent travel to site locations may be required during the engineering and commissioning phases.
• Adherence to strict health, safety, and environmental protocols is essential.
