Our client a healthcare company has an opportunity for Financial Director
Due to continued growth and exciting strategic business plans company is looking to recruit a Financial Director, reporting directly to the CFO.
About the job
The primary purpose of the Finance Director role is to provide strategic financial direction, guidance and management of the Finance function in a way that facilitates the achievement of growth strategy and ambitious objectives.
A dynamic and rapidly expanding healthcare group and part of an international group.
A healthcare group employing approximately 1,000 staff throughout Ireland
This senior role, supported by the Finance Team includes full responsibility for best in class reporting leading an efficient monthly closing cycle. Budgeting and long-term planning including developing financial models, managing budgets, preparation of current financial reports and summaries. They will also be expected to build strong relationships with the other members of the Executive Team and to foster a business partnering minded ethos from the Finance Team. This business partnering mindset needs to be underpinned with strong governance and control and an open communication style.

Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the Leadership Team.
Financial Management
Procurement & Acquisitions
Compliance & Reporting
Team Management and Development
Qualifications:
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA /ACCA /CIMA or equivalent) with a
minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
• Staff management and previous experience managing a financial function.
• Extensive understanding of Finance and IT systems including required controls
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Proven track-record in implementing process improvements and change management
• Strong communications and people management skills
• Good technical accounting knowledge
• Strong Excel and IT skills
• Proactive, ambitious and energetic
