The Basics:

Role: Production Supervisor – Precision Engineering – Machining department.

Position: Permanent

Location: Long Eaton 

Salary: £40000 to £45000 DOE

Hours: Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm and Fridays 7am-12:00

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Holidays/Benefits: 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit – 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a Production Supervisor to lead the machining department.

Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager you will be tasked to monitor performance and drive productivity of the department. Implementing KPI’s and attending production meetings you will be the lead person in the machining department.

The ideal candidate / Production Supervisor – Machining may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served engineering apprenticeship
• Must have previous experience in a machining environment – CNC Milling/CNC Turning.
• A strong communicator with excellent people management skills
• Previous experience leading a team and attending production performance meetings
