Are you a CNC Turner who wants to work Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Fridays 7:30am to 12:30pm for a base salary of £36159 per annum + overtime available with earnings of £40000 and upwards achievable?

The Basics:

Role: CNC Turner

Position: Permanent

Location: Basildon

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays – paid after 39hrs.

Holidays/Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, After every 5 years’ service an extra day holiday up to a max of 4 days extra, Employee Contribution – 5% and Employer Contribution – 3%. Annual pay rises negotiated every year by the Unions.

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Turner to join the machining section.

The ideal candidate / CNC Turner may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served engineering apprenticeship
• Must have previous CNC Turning experience
• Able to program/edit online at the machine
• Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial
• Competent working with handheld measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges.
• Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
