Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Cheltenham

Shift: Monday to Friday (6.00am to 2.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm and 10.00pm to 6.00am - rotating weekly)

Pay: £43,000 per annum + Overtime = earnings of £48,000 and upwards achievable.

Overview:

Working in a first-class, modern, purpose-built manufacturing facility; we now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.

The ideal candidate / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served apprenticeship
• Experience working within automated manufacturing/production environment or similar – working with heavy plant/automated machinery.
• Knowledge and understanding of Gear Boxes, Motors, Conveyors, Hydraulics, Pneumatics etc.
• Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
