At Jobandtalent, we are recruiting for Warehouse & Stores to work with an important company in the  Wrexham LL13. We have an opportunity for you to work with one of the leading manufacturers of chilled foods in the UK. Our client manufactures prepared meals for the top UK grocery retailers such as the Co-Operative, Morrison’s, Aldi and Waitrose and many more. The site in Wrexham has a culture of open communication and a positive work environment. They also have a long-standing workforce with 60% being over 10 years’ service. We are currently recruiting for roles in the Warehouse and stores, and you could become part of that team.   

Shift Patterns:

• 4 on 4 off

Pay Rates

• £12.05 per hour with licence/£11.50 per hour without

As a Warehouse and Stores, you will need to have:

• Previous experience of operating Forklift Truck and/or Power pallet trucks would be beneficial, but not imperative. 
• Knowledge of warehouse/ chilled food environment would be advantageous.
• Effective communication skills and self-motivated.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a team environment.
• A preference is to have worked with warehouse IT systems and be Computer Literate.

Role of a Warehouse and Stores:

• he role is fast paced in a 24/7 operation where safety of all our colleagues is paramount.
• Unload and check all inbound deliveries ensuring quality, temperatures, and accuracy against all inbound orders.
• Labelling, stocking, and placing goods into the correct area for storage until required by production.
• Using radio frequency identification guns & systems to accurately issue the correct stock when called off by production.
• Ensure the regular and routine cleaning of all areas.
• Ensure compliance with GMP standards.
