SAP Technical Architect

Long Term Contract Engagement

Canberra (offsite)

This role requires the candidate to have in-depth understanding of technical architecture and design of SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA systems.

In his/her past roles, the candidate should have designed and implemented SAP technical solutions – system landscape design, SAP S/4 HANA Greenfield or Landscape Transformation implementation, on premise or cloud deployment scenarios. 

This role will utilise their extensive industry best practice business process, functional and technical knowledge, as well as proven SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience to support the customers ERP program.

The role requires deep technical skill in SAP products and experience with cloud computing as well as customer facing skills that will enable the successful candidate to represent the customer well, not only to customers but to the broader SAP community including SAP, developers, & architects. The ideal candidate should also have demonstrated the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. 

Requirements;

• At least 5 years’ experience as a senior architect in Architecture Leadership positions. With demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of an Enterprise Level Architecture encompassing both systems and data.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP applications, SaaS and cloud solutions, server technology, and network security.
• Experience and deep knowledge of SAP systems (for example SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs is required.
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver architecture and related SAP products as well as interfaces with other related systems and underlying database technologies
• Exposure to SAP Basis, SAP HANA with 2+ years of with SAP S/4 HANA Greenfield or Landscape Transformation implementation, on-premise or cloud deployment scenarios. 
• Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA product & migration experience
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and SAP Cloud Platform (SCP)
• Knowledge of UI5 and Fiori App design and development.
• A confident and natural communicator with the ability to help a wide range of stakeholders understand the business value of key Architecture decisions through concise and effective communications.
• Promoter of close alignment between business and IT by helping to translate architecture issues for business leaders and managers with varying levels of technology savvy.
• An authoritative communicator with a history of running Architecture governance bodies that lift the quality and throughput of tech deliverables.
• Confidence to deal with vendors of all sizes being able to determine business value from those engagements.
• Possess a bias for action and a fundamental commitment to quality in delivering services to support customer needs.
• TOGAF or COBIT certification
• SAP Certification in at-least one of the relevant modules in S4/HANA
