Manpower has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to join our Client at their site in Oldham based on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. Working with a clear set of assigned products you will be responsible for coordinating the supply chain alongside Suppliers, Category Managers, Sales and Operations teams.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the end to end supply chain from the supplier to the hub, branch network or direct to the customer whilst meeting the required cost, inventory and supplier restrictions. You will manage a portfolio of suppliers developing strong working relationships via regular supplier meetings and reviews ensuring that order books are managed effectively and the system is up to date.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years + experience in planning with a good understanding of the supply chain, SAP and MS Excel experience and the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels. |
