My client is an independent Manufacturer operating in the heart of West Yorkshire who are currently seeking a highly motivated individual, who is eager to grow and build a career within the business, as they seek to grow and expand within the market. This role requires someone who is willing to take on a new challenge and is committed to learning, as well as seeking to continually improve their skills and knowledge.
Duties
• Interpreting customer requirements for bespoke packaging.
• Carefully inspect enquiry and tender documents to identify products which we can supply.
• Use the in-house CRM software to generate accurate product specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to gather necessary cost information
• Ensure all quotations are prepared and delivered within specified timeframes.
• Work with the Account Managers, the Technical Sales Manager and the Managing Director to check pricing before finalising quotations.
• Use existing documentation and filing systems to maintain record keeping.
• Liaise with customers via phone and email to provide customer service updates and after sales support.
• Processing of customer orders and material purchase orders
• Updating product specifications based on feedback from internal departments.
Experience
• Experience within a manufacturing environment with a focus on sales and customer service is preferred, but not essential.
• Good computer skills are a must, you will be making use of Microsoft 365 Suite as well as own Industry Specific software on a daily basis. Good organisation skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Eager to learn and continually develop your skill set.
• A highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metric and imperial measurements.
• The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
