Salary: GBP30000 - GBP55000 per annum + + bonus

My client is one of the world's leading manufacturers providing quality products to customers all across the UK. They are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager with drive and passion and a track record in building relationships with existing and developing business.

Responsibilities:

• Be the key point of contact for all client queries
• Develop strong partnerships with existing dealers as well as successfully maximising all new commercial opportunities
• Direct and manage all operational aspects within the country including sales, profit and dealer relationships
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Acquisition of new dealers, also field service
• Active consultancy of existing dealers, also field service
• Technical support of distributors and customers
• Attending trade exhibitions
• Coordinate activities between HQ and the UK subsidiary
• Report to the General Manager


Requirements:

• A high level of technical experience and knowledge
• Very good communication, negotiation and sales skills
• An excellent communicator with the ability to easily build relationships
• Competent, goal orientated and cost-conscious working behaviour, as well as friendly and confident appearance
• Must be able to cover and commute from Manchester to London
• Good levels of numeracy, literacy and familiar with E-mail, Word, Excel and SAGE 50
