A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join a UK known plastics manufacturer in the Bristol Area!
With no day ever being the same the Mechanical Fitter role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the workshop with the assembly, build and testing of a range of packaging machines.
- To build/assemble all mechanical components
- Reading engineers drawings
- Building sub-assemblies and installing on new machine frames, pneumatic installation, set-up and running of customer products
- Occasional travel to customers sites
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Full drivers licence.
- Previous experience with assembly / build / mechanical engineering work
- Plastics / Packaging / Robotics background
- Relevant mechanical engineering skills
- Apprenticeship or qualification
