A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known company in the Avonmouth Area!

Role & Responsibilities:
- PPM and reactive maintenance on pumps / sluices / motors / gearboxes
- Complete planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance work in a number of different environments
- Reading OEM Manuals and Technical Drawings.
- Maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Carry out duties with due care and attention, adhering to the companies Health & Safety Policy and HSE regulations
- Liaise with operations to prioritise rectification of unserviceable machinery using fault finding diagnostic methodologies and equipment; minimising reactive maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- NVQ3 In a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline
- Strong Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
- 5+ years in practical engineering
- Strong digital skills including SAP
- Management / Supervisory experience – beneficial
- Good level of understanding of Engineering Management Systems and Processes.
- Must hold UK Driver’s Licence
- Ability to ensure quality standards are met and maintained when conducting maintenance and recording maintenance feedback
