Job Summary/Introduction

In this role you would help clients (Family offices, HNWI, UHNWI) achieve their long-term financial goals by creating personalised investment strategies, managing their portfolios, and offering guidance on tax planning, estate planning, and risk management.

The client is a growing EAM (External Asset Manager) in the GCC region working with family offices, HNI and UHNIs. They are DFSA registered and are based out of DIFC, Dubai.



Description

 

  • Financial Planning: Developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual clients' goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
  • Investment Management: Selecting and managing investment portfolios, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
  • Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks associated with clients' investments, such as market volatility, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical events.
  • Tax Planning: Providing guidance on tax-efficient investment strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize after-tax returns.
  • Estate Planning: Assisting clients in planning for their financial future, including estate distribution, inheritance taxes, and trusts.

 



Candidate's Profile

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in the GCC region working with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and family offices.
  • Portfolio Management: Demonstrated ability to manage investment portfolios valued at $20 million or more, across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
  • Private Banking Background: Preferred experience in private banking, providing a deep understanding of the unique needs and expectations of wealthy clients.
  • Strong Educational Foundation: Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, understand their financial goals, and provide personalized advice and guidance.
