Beacon Hill's client, a national law firm, is seeking a mid-to-senior level labor and employment attorney due to firm growth. This alternative-track contract role offers flexible billable hours, interesting legal assignments, and direct interaction with clients.

• Location: Hybrid, San Diego, CA 92101. The hybrid schedule consists of 3 days/week in the office and 2 days/week remote. Initially, it’s recommended that new attorneys spend more time in the office for the first 3-6 months to establish relationships, etc.
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: open-ended, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role
• Hours: Full-time
• Hourly pay: $50-$80 per hour, depending on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in California (active and in good standing) required
• 3+ years of experience practicing employment law
• Experience with class actions and PAGA is preferred, but not required
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload independently
• Solid academic achievements
