Litigation Paralegal (LT1407825SFO) Irvine, California

Salary: USD40 - USD53 per hour

Beacon Hill’s client, a top Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a litigation paralegal for their Orange County, CA office.  Candidates should have at least 5 years of litigation paralegal experience and should possess experience in the competencies below. Hours/Schedule

  • Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in the client’s Orange County office (parking is not provided)
  • 40-hour work week
  • Standard business hours of operation

 

Duration: Ongoing, approximately 6+ months.  There may be a potential to transition to perm.

Job Information

  • Prepare, file, and serve documents electronically in California state and federal courts in compliance with all relevant procedural requirements
  • Monitor litigation deadlines and assist in the timely submission of filings and responses to avoid delays and sanctions
  • Tracks all relevant case deadlines
  • Provides support for hearings, mediations, court appearances, and depositions
  • Examines, organizes, analyzes, and summarizes information relating to particular questions and organizes communication into a logical and usable work product
  • Investigates factual issues by using a variety of sources, including libraries, websites, client repositories, and other outside source
  • Maintains client matter, or practice group-specific resources in electronic format or hard copy
  • Assists in all aspects of the case, including, but not limited to, drafting and proofreading documents and pleadings in accordance with court rules and deadlines, coordinating document productions, and creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Coordinates with vendors and service providers for outside services, if necessary
