Health Care Assistant (Triage Position)
Opportunity available for a Health Care Assistant to work in a triage position, Based in Abingdon
The team sits within an Out of Hours Emergency Department with the role predominately performing a variety of admin tasks such as daily CD drugs check, restocking of consumables. As part of this role you must have the ability to take basic observations, including BMs, Urinalysis and ECGs. It is desirable that you triage experience, system knowledge of adastra and previous customer service/admin skills. You will also be providing support and care for patients with physical health needs within a multidisciplinary setting and will also consist with undertaking assigned tasks under the general supervision of a registered nurse, including assisting in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. As a health care assistant you will be supporting the practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services and delivering care within the practice.
This role is to commence ASAP with the hours being full time with a mix of shift patterns.
The hourly rate for this role is:
Monday to Friday 06:00 – 20:00: £13.40 Per Hour
Saturday/ Nights: £15 Per Hour
Sunday/Bank Holidays: £17 Per Hour
