Position: TIG Welder

Location: Abertillery

Salary: £12 - £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern: 8 30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

About this Vacancy:

Once fully trained the TIG Welder will be able to assemble hoses using various components and techniques.

Duties:

• Cut to length metal hose using cutting machinery
• Weld hoses and fittings using TIG Method
• Machining fittings for welding
• Pressure testing the hoses
• Assemble hoses by swaging end connections onto each end
• Test hoses to customers specifications
• Pack hoses ready for despatch to the customer
• Cleaning up of the production area.
• Take deliveries from suppliers
• allocate stock from suppliers to goods in

About You:

• Have previous experience Tig welding stainless steel
• Have previous experience in creating & reading CAD drawings but not essential as some training can be provided
• Previous experience with machining and metal work
• Be educated to GCSE standard
• Have previous experience in a similar environment but this is not essential
• Have a friendly and polite manner both in person and over the telephone
• Have full UK Driving Licence
