Maintenance Technician (Scott) Blackwood, Wales
We are pleased to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our international client in the Blackwood area.
Job Purpose
To maximise the department machines’ output and maintain the manufacturing processes within the designed specification.
Activities & Responsibilities
• Provision of engineering and operational support to a manufacturing area
• Machine setting, to achieve product specification and performance
• Maintenance of automated inspection systems
• Fault finding and corrective action
• Machine inspection
• Responding to minor breakdowns
• Preventative maintenance
• Major breakdowns
• To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements, GMP and company policies and procedures.
• Preparation of sub-assembly
• Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager
Education & Qualifications
• A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

£40,000 to £44,000 per year DOE.
