This position is suited for someone who operates independently, following the guidelines and behaviors and can securely handle, oversee inventory, ensure it adheres to best practices and quality standards, and meet the Supervisor's expectations.
- Role: Warehouse Assistant
- Pay Rate: £14.10 Hourly (Rate Enhancements applicable for Weekend and OT)
- Location: Abbott, Range Road, Witney, OX29 0YL
- Job Type: Initially for 39 weeks with the probability of extension
- Hours: Full Time, 37.50 hours in a week, Mon - Fri 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 on a weekly changing rota
- Start Date: Asap
Job Responsibilities:
- Performing all tasks in alignment with the Abbott Dundee Health & Safety culture.
- Adhering to instructions, including SOPs, to manage the supply chain accurately and maintain quality standards.
- Completing quality documentation in line with GMP requirements.
- Actively engaging in training and self-improvement.
- Operating warehouse equipment proficiently.
- Proactively identifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to the Product line (Process, Documentation, Material) and Workplace organization.
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as directed by the Line Manager or Department Manager.
- Demonstrating a strong drive and commitment to achieving customer performance and delivery targets. Possessing accountability and the ability to set clear expectations for oneself and the team.
- Being adaptable to changing business objectives, managing personal workload efficiently, and maintaining a positive and open attitude.
Requirements:
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
- Communicating effectively with diverse audiences, valuing and following up on others' opinions and feedback. Being self-directed, motivated, and capable of delivering desired outcomes.
- Attending meetings as necessary and contributing meaningfully, such as Tier meetings.
- Maintaining regular communication with local leaders, offering support and encouragement as needed.
- Conducting all activities in compliance with environmental, health, safety (EHS), and quality principles and global standards.
- Exhibiting excellent attention to detail.
- Possessing knowledge of GMP processes and procedures.
