A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive production team. You will be provided with excellent training opportunities to develop your skills within assembly and test. Providing to an international supplier base, this company has an enviable reputation as a market leader in their field across the globe. The business are looking for someone that has long term career aspirations as they have an exciting succession plan in place for the successful candidate to progress into a supervisor.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To assemble and test the range of products in accordance with written/verbal instructions
- To fit and test proprietary actuators and ancillaries, in accordance with instructions
- To record serial numbers and material melt numbers for PED compliance
- Assist in the rectification of identified products, as instructed
- Assist in the investigation of returned products
- Select, withdraw and return products to the warehouse
- Packing and despatch activity when required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience of working within an assembly/production environment is desirable
- Long term career aspirations – the business have a succession plan to move into a supervisor role within a couple of years
- Full training would be provided
