Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage small capital projects from conception and ensure the approval, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of capital projects, ensuring that designs are safe, efficient, maintainable and controllable.
- Accountable for ensuring that assigned projects comply with all relevant internal & external standards/requirements.
- Provide the Project Team Manager (or designee) with expenditure forecasts for assigned projects.
- Undertake the chemical/process engineering design for assigned projects.
- Actively undertake safety participation activities and assigned site safety actions.
- Provide occasional incident/accident investigation support.
- Ensuring process safety plant information is kept up to date.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified engineer, preferably with a degree in Chemical Engineering with industrial placement year.
Key experience would ideally include -
- Project Management skills.
- Working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Chemical/process engineering design.
- Experience within heavy industry preferred
