Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and development of electronic hardware solutions that meet project specifications and adhere to all relevant regulatory standards.
• Lead the hardware development process including schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and prototyping.
• Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and production engineers to ensure optimal integration of hardware with other system components.
• Manage product verification and validation including creating and implementing test plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in electronic hardware design and development.
• Proven experience in electronic hardware design and development, particularly in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design, and experience with microcontroller-based products.
• Proficient in design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent for PCB design and schematic capture.
• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and IoT technologies.

Desired Skills

• Experience in the medical devices sector or other regulated industries like defence or aerospace, which will be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
