The role of Forklift Operator is to safely operate container handling machinery within the Container Yard. Operators are to ensure the safe handling of containers, loading and unloading of the trucks, use of machinery and storage of containers in accordance with Depot requirements.
Duties will include:
- Safe operation of twin-pick fork lifts
- Unload & stack empty containers
- Documented Pre-Ops & Hazard ID Checks
- Computer tablet operation
To be successful you will:
- Hold a current LF licence
- Proven experience operating a Container Fork Lift ideal
- Ability to start immediately
- Reliable and flexible with hours & OT
