About the Company:
We are working with a well-established business, within the Wellness industry, who are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant on an immediate start. This role would suit someone who has worked across medium sized standalone Assistant Accountant function. This is a temp to perm opportunity based in the inner city suburbs.

About the Role

• Maintain and update general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in generating financial reports, including profit & loss and balance sheet reports.
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer receipts.
• Help prepare and process payroll, including tax deductions and benefits.
• Daily reconciliations
• Assist in generating monthly trial balance and ensure that all entries are accurate and complete.
• Record accrual entries for expenses incurred but not yet paid
• Maintenance of fixed asset schedules for entities.
• Assisting with monthly budgeting, forecasting and project performance
• Additional adhoc duties as required

Skills and Experience

• 2-3 years experience within an Assistant Accountant function
• Intermediate excel skills
• Comfortable working in a small team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
